VAS taps new CEO to accelerate tech-driven dairy management

Named as VAS’ new Chief Executive Officer, Kevin Coffey will focus on the company’s global growth and help shape the strategic direction of its dairy management platform. Kevin Coffey has joined VAS’ leadership team as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer, bringing more than 25 years of experience in the dairy industry, with a strong track record of leadership in data, herd management and innovation.

From being raised on a farm and managing one early in his career, to holding senior leadership roles in dairy consultancy, precision management and the AI industry, Coffey’s journey has been built on a lifelong connection to agriculture.

As we look ahead, I’m excited to guide the evolution of that legacy to meet the rapidly evolving needs of dairy producers with greater intelligence, connectivity and impact,” says Kevin Coffey.

Throughout his career, he has led with an understanding of both the day-to-day realities of farming and how the power of innovation and technology can transform operations. He previously led Munster Bovine, the largest AI, herd recording and herd health testing organization in Ireland, and held key leadership roles at Aurivo Co-operative. Most recently, he served as the head of Smart Farming at Datamars, a global company delivering integrated product solutions in livestock management and animal health delivery.
