Maarten Bijl will be succeeding Bastiaan van Tilburg as the new CEO of Skretting, effective September 1, 2025. On the same date, van Tilburg will become the CEO of Nutreco, replacing David Blakemore.
Nutreco has announced the appointment of Maarten Bijl as CEO of Skretting as of September 1, 2025. Bijl replaces Bastiaan van Tilburg who will succeed David Blakemore as Nutreco CEO.
Maarten Bijl has spent the last 16 years working across SHV companies in roles encompassing strategy, commercial management, and general management, and for the last year as Chief Digital Officer (CDO), a role created in June 2024. Prior to the CDO role, Bijl spent three years as Managing Director of Trouw Nutrition North America. Over the span of his career, he has led businesses in different industries, geographies and disciplines and has laid the groundwork for Nutreco’s digital transformation.

Nutreco has stated that an announcement on Maarten Bijl’s successor will follow. For the interim period, he will hold dual roles.
