IPC unveils its leadership transitions

The International Poultry Council (IPC) has declared that Richard Griffiths, Chief Executive of the British Poultry Council, will take over the presidency from Ricardo Santin in the new term.

The International Poultry Council (IPC) has announced key leadership transitions effective January 1, 2026. As Ricardo Santin concludes his distinguished term as IPC President at the end of this year, Richard Griffiths, Chief Executive of the British Poultry Council, will assume the role of President of the IPC.

Gonzalo Moreno Gómez will take on the position of Vice President, joining the IPC Executive Committee. “It is an honor to assume the Vice Presidency and join the Executive Committee of the International Poultry Council. I take on this responsibility on behalf of Colombian and Latin American poultry producers, with a strong commitment to advancing a competitive, sustainable, and science-based global poultry sector,” said Moreno Gómez.

Additionally, Greg Tyler, President and CEO of the USA Poultry & Egg Export Council, will become the Treasurer of the association.

IPC stated that these leadership changes reflect its ongoing commitment to representing the global poultry value chain with strong, diverse, and experienced voices.
