
Thiago Hamberland has stepped up to join GMP+ International’s management team, overseeing the strategic direction of the GMP+ FC scheme. Bringing 13 years’ experience in the food and feed sectors, Hamberland will begin his new role on October 1, 2025.
Thiago Hamberland has been appointed as the Manager Scheme & Services for GMP+ International. He will begin his new role on October 1, 2025.
Regarding his new role, Hamberland said, “I’m honoured to join the management team at GMP+ International. My journey with the GMP+ FC scheme has taken me across the globe, working not only on certification but also on the practical implementation of its requirements. This has given me firsthand insight into the challenges, bottlenecks, and opportunities companies face throughout the feed supply chain. I look forward to helping extend the reach of feed safety and sustainability worldwide taking the next step in the scheme’s development not just to prepare for the future, but to shape it.”
In this new role he will oversee the strategic direction and execution of the world’s largest certification scheme for safe and sustainable animal feed and related support services. He brings 13 years’ experience in the food and feed sectors, including 10 years with GMP+ International, most recently managing the GMP+ FC scheme. He holds a Master of Business Administration in Quality Control and Environmental Management Systems from Universidade Estadual de Ponta Grossa in Brazil.
