EFSA publishes positive scientific opinion on Phileo by Lesaffre’s bacteria probiotic

The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) has issued a scientific opinion on Microsaf®, Phileo by Lesaffre’s innovative bacteria probiotic, concluding on its efficacy for chickens and other poultry for fattening. Following this positive opinion and pending final authorization from the European Commission, the company is reportedly preparing to launch Microsaf® in the EU market.
