Devenish Mexico team welcomes new Poultry Nutrition Manager

The Devenish Mexico team has added Dr. Froylán Abraham Rodríguez Soriano to its ranks as the new Poultry Nutrition Manager. Fluent in Spanish and English, Dr. Rodríguez is known for his critical thinking, cross-functional collaboration and adaptability to changing environments.

Dr. Froylán Abraham Rodríguez Soriano has joined the Devenish Mexico team as the new Poultry Nutrition Manager. He is a Veterinary Doctor and Animal Nutritionist with over 16 years of experience in poultry production, feed formulation, and technical service across Latin America. Dr. Rodríguez has built a strong reputation for developing cost-effective nutritional programs, managing applied research, and providing technical support to commercial teams in multinational companies. His expertise includes advanced knowledge of enzymes, vitamins, premix design, and NIR technology for raw material analysis.

Since 2016, Dr. Rodriguez has worked in the feed industry, providing technical support in various areas such as enzymes, vitamins, premixes, and eubiotics to poultry producers in Mexico and Central America. In this role, he coordinated applied research trials, developed customized premix formulations, delivered technical presentations at international scientific forums, and supported feed plants through NIR services, audits, and poultry health diagnostics.

Prior to this, he held key roles including Poultry and Ruminant Nutrition Manager and Technical Service Manager at several international companies.

Academically, Dr. Rodriguez holds a Doctorate in Animal Health and Production Sciences with a focus on Poultry Nutrition from UNAM, completed between 2021 and 2024. He also earned a Master’s degree and a Specialization in Poultry Production, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science from UNAM. His international experience includes technical and managerial training across Costa Rica, the United States, Germany, the Netherlands, Austria, Brazil, France, and Colombia.

Fluent in Spanish and English, Dr. Rodriguez is known for his critical thinking, cross-functional collaboration, adaptability to changing environments, and strong communication and negotiation skills. His contributions to the field include presentations at major conferences such as Poultry Science Latam and the Poultry Science Annual Meeting in the United States and Brazil, as well as scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals, including a 2025 article in Frontiers in Animal Science on enzyme combinations improving broiler performance and gut health.
