Argenta, one of global leader in animal health innovation, has announced plans to consolidate its US manufacturing and development operations into a single site, strengthening the company’s long-term operational footprint and enhancing delivery for its global client base.

As part of this strategic transition, Argenta will begin a phased ramp-down of activities at its Fort Dodge, Iowa facility over the next 12-24 months, with operations being consolidated into the company’s Shawnee, Kansas site. This decision follows a comprehensive review of Argenta’s current and future operational needs.

STRENGTHENING CAPABILITIES AND CAPACITY
The Shawnee site will continue to serve as Argenta’s primary US hub, with planned investments to support expanded capabilities, improved utilisation of assets, and increased capacity in both development and manufacturing services. Regulatory compliance, product quality, and client service continuity will remain fully supported throughout the transition.

The company confirmed there will be no disruption to client projects as a result of this transition. A dedicated cross-functional project team will oversee all phases of the consolidation to ensure a smooth and controlled process.

SUPPORT FOR FORT DODGE EMPLOYEES
Argenta has communicated the decision directly to employees at both US sites and has begun a structured employee support process at Fort Dodge. The company notes that it is committed to managing the transition with care, transparency, and respect for all impacted colleagues.
