Adisseo, one of the world’s leading animal nutrition solutions companies, held a new one of its traditional Advancia training meetings in Dubai on 13-15 June 2022. In the 2-day event, which was held with a total of 150 participants from the Middle East and Africa, current developments in the feed and feed additives sectors were discussed with mutual exchange of ideas.
In the first part of the Advancia training meeting, Rabobank Senior Analyst Dr. Nan Dirk Mulder made a presentation on the Middle East poultry market. After Mulder’s presentation, the speakers in the second part of the meeting were Florian Bastit, Marcio Ceccantini, Baris Yavuz and Prof. Markus Rodehutscord and they talked about the effects of indigestible fractions on nutrient absorption and losses. In the third part, speakers Dr. Jean Noblet and Dr. Rick Kleyn focused on the advantages to be obtained as a result of the evaluation of energy and amino acid formulations.
On the first day of the training meeting, 150 participants from different countries divided into groups and completed their workshops. On the second day of the event, Dr. Pascal Thiery, Dr. Damien Preveraud and Dr. Michele DeMarco made presentations on improving intestinal health and increasing resistance to oxidative stress.
