Animine, France-based global supplier of trace minerals for animal nutrition, has opened its doors for the 4th Animine e-cademy, where representatives of the feed industry and academy meet and discuss latest developments about mineral nutrition.
Every 2 years, Animine organizes its scientific academy, a unique meeting point between the feed industry and academy. This cross-cutting event offers neutral and non-promotional topics with the aim of presenting the latest advances in mineral nutrition to the public. This year, more than 20 renowned experts from all over the world will cover subjects of various aspects:
- In nutrition, a first angle will tackle the limit of existing bioavailability studies. A second angle will address the requirements of minerals in various species and their special role such as in phytase or fat metabolism.
- Intestinal health: Several speakers will present the latest research advances in term of development of biomarkers for gut health but also about management of dEB and of the impact of certain components such as sulfur.
- Microbiota: Speakers will discuss about flora modulation by minerals and about best methods to characterize the microbiota.
- Environmental sciences: Specialists will address the important topics of antimicrobial resistance as well as sustainability aspect of the feed industry (Life cycle analysis (LCA) assessment)
- Analytical sciences: Experts will come back on the need to characterize diets minerals content as well as their speciation, presenting a set of novel technics.
