From November 12–15, 2024, Vilofoss participated in EuroTier 2024, one of the world’s leading trade fairs for animal production, held in Hanover, Germany. The event brought together 2,193 exhibitors from 51 countries and approximately 120,000 visitors from 149 countries. Spread across multiple halls of the Hanover exhibition grounds, it served as a key platform for showcasing innovations in farming.
PRACTICAL INNOVATIONS FOR FARMING
At EuroTier 2024, Vilofoss presented a range of nutritional solutions under the theme “We Innovate Animal Farming”, including two new products: ShellFoss and CoolFoss. ShellFoss is a feed supplement developed to improve eggshell stability in older laying hens with a blend of organic trace elements, fermented plant extracts and vitamins. CoolFoss is a feed solution designed to help dairy cows manage heat stress. By including essential oils, prebiotics and probiotics, Vilofoss explained that it helps cows maintain digestion and milk production under hot and humid conditions.
VILOFOSS FARM SOLUTIONS
The company also presented Vilofoss Farm Solutions: practical strategies designed to address common challenges in modern farming. These solutions are tailored for cattle, pigs and poultry and cover 11 key areas such as feed efficiency, animal welfare and sustainable practices, the company pointed out. They are based on real-world farming needs, focusing on solutions that help farmers improve operations and address specific challenges they face on a daily basis. The goal is stated as to support animal health, improve productivity and help farmers run more efficient and effective operations.
