Sasha Tozzi named BioZyme’s VP of Operations

BioZyme, a company that provides solutions in animal well-being and nutrition, has appointed Sasha Tozzi as its new Vice President of Operations. According to BioZyme, Tozzi fits well with the company’s leadership initiative and has extensive experience working with teams and individuals.

Sasha Tozzi, Ph.D., has been appointed as the new Vice President of Operations at BioZyme® Inc. In his role, Tozzi will oversee the manufacturing processes and people to continue BioZyme’s tradition of safe, accurate products. He will also manage the quality and cost of operations within the company, one of the global fermentation leaders.

In previous jobs and positions, I have led in a way that building rapport with my teams has shown to be effective. It is nice to see it in action.”

Tozzi brings more than 15 years of expertise in fermentation, operations, leadership, product development, and strategic planning to his role at BioZyme. He most recently worked at GenCanna, where he oversaw manufacturing operations and the development and launch of new products. He has also served in leadership roles at Alltech Inc. and Aurora Algae Inc. Tozzi started his own biotech consulting firm, specializing in solutions for both international biotech companies and startups.

Sasha Tozzi earned his Ph.D. in Marine Science from the College of William and Mary. He has a Master of Science in Oceanography from Rutgers and has authored more than 40 publications and received the prestigious National Science Foundation U.S. Antarctic Service Medal. Tozzi is based in Lexington, Kentucky, USA, home to BioZyme’s sister company, Cogent Solutions Group.
