After studying AgriBusiness, he began his career 2009 with the company takeover and development of MIAVIT Spain in Tarragona. As the son of Stefan Niemeyer and grandson of the founder Dr. Hans W. Niemeyer, he joined the management board of MIAVIT in 2015. Today, he lives near MIAVIT Germany with his wife and son, and is the CEO of the entire MIAVIT Group. About Serkan Özdemir Born and raised in the Netherlands, Serkan Özdemir graduated in International Management from the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences. He began his professional career in the natural stone industry before transitioning to the chemical sector, where he held sales management roles across the Glass, Ceramics, Animal Feed, and Agriculture markets. In 2016, he played a key role in the establishment of MIAVIT Türkiye and has been serving as its General Manager since then. Residing in the Netherlands, he is married and a proud father of two children. enables us to react more flexibly and expand in the mentioned areas. In addition to our main production site in Germany we have two further production sites in Spain and Vietnam, and sales offices in Kenya and Poland. With our valued sales colleagues in countries such as Algeria, Mexico and Tunisia, we also offer our product portfolio in LATAM, Asia and Middle East Africa. Overall, we now have an export quota of more than 60% in over 90 countries worldwide. Finally, what would you like to say about your plans for the future, your goal and role in the animal nutrition industry? Middendorf: Our plans for the future are to continue to strengthen our brand and the main principles of MIAVIT. Last year we celebrated our 60th anniversary and this was a big milestone for us. My grandfather founded MIAVIT with the guiding principle “Prevention instead of medication” and we are focussing on this main goal with our products lines Toxinbinder, Antioxidants, Feed Additives and FarmLine. We continue to see ourselves as an important partner in the feed industry. Is there anything else you’d like to add? Middendorf: We are proud to have an additional international production site with which we can offer our solution concepts to our partners worldwide. We are constantly working on new solutions and products for our partners. Most recently for example we presented our new product MiaBond Drink – a watersoluble Toxinbinder- at EuroTier 2024 in November.
