NEWS 98 FEED & ADDITIVE MAGAZINE August 2024 Royal Canin, one of the billion-dollar brands of Mars, Incorporated, announced Heather Pasquale as the new General Manager of the U.S. Vet Business Unit for Royal Canin North America. Pasquale succeeds Jean-Lin Pelatan who was named General Manager, Global Business-to-Business Platform at the Royal Canin global headquarters in Aimargues, France. She will serve as a member of the Royal Canin North America Leadership Team. Pasquale joined Mars in 2017, where she gained experience across the veterinary industry as she led a region of nearly 200 hospitals for Banfield Pet Hospital. She joined Royal Canin in 2022, leading Vetsource International, where she developed an independent vet pharmacy online derived from the Vetsource U.S. model and deployed it in new markets. Prior to these positions, Pasquale held multiple roles of increasing responsibility, ranging from Registered Pharmacist to Regional Healthcare Manager, District Manager and Regional Sales Manager with CVS Health, managing up to $1.5 billion in sales. "Our business and our partners will benefit greatly under Heather's leadership, which will leverage her vast experience across the veterinary industry both regionally and globally," says Daryn Brown, Regional President of Royal Canin North America. Read more>> Heather Pasquale named General Manager by Royal Canin Heather Pasquale Cal-Maine Foods, Inc, one of the largest producers and distributors of fresh shell eggs in the US, announced that Judd Stevens has been named Vice President, Operations, effective July 23, 2024. Stevens will have responsibility for all of Cal-Maine Foods’ recently acquired assets from ISE, including production operations in Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey and South Carolina, USA. Stevens has been employed with Cal-Maine Foods since 2003. He most recently served as General Manager for the company’s subsidiary Wharton County Foods, LLC’s facilities in Boling, Texas. He previously served in management positions at other Cal-Maine Foods locations in Texas, Florida, and Mississippi, USA. Stevens has also served as the President of The Texas Poultry Federation and President of The Texas Egg Council. He is a graduate of Mississippi State University with a bachelor’s degree in poultry science. “Judd Stevens is extremely well qualified to assume this important leadership role for Cal-Maine Foods,” said Sherman Miller, President and Chief Executive Officer of Cal-Maine Foods. “He has over 20 years of management experience across various company locations with a keen understanding of the different aspects of our operations.
