Co-chaired by Prof. Dr. Reinaldo Cooke of Texas A&M University and Dr. Jeff Heldt of Selko U.S., speakers at the Trace Mineral Symposium on Monday, July 22, include academic and industry researchers at the forefront of trace mineral nutrition. Specialists in trace mineral nutrition will reveal new discoveries about the role trace minerals play in supporting the metabolism of beef cattle and the mode of action underlying trace minerals’ performance. Symposium speakers include Prof. Dr. Jerry Spears, North Carolina State University; Dr. Javier Martín-Tereso, Trouw Nutrition; Prof. Dr. John Arthington, University of Florida; Prof. Dr. Terry Engle, Colorado State University; Prof. Dr. Rodrigo Marques, Virginia Polytechnic Institute & University, and Prof. Dr. Pedro Fontes, University of Georgia. Brian Sokoloski, a familiar face at EAI, joined the team in May and will lead the technology team as the company’s product line grows. In the newly created Chief Technology Officer position, Sokoloski, a software engineer by trade, brings an outside perspective to the company as he joins the leadership team. “First and foremost, we believe Sokoloski is a strong representation of our core values which are extremely important to us at EAI,” shared Co-President Brady Gaalswyk. “Having 10+ years of ag software engineering experience and most recently working and consulting for Fortune 500 technology companies, most recently Oracle, Sokoloski has a strong track record of leading successful teams, developing meaningful industry relationships, and integrating emerging technologies into legacy product lines.” Sokoloski will drive the technological vision, strategy, and execution that propels Easy Automation forward.
