F SD Pharma Inc. announced that it has entered into a li- cense agreement with Innovet Ita- lia S.R.L., under which Innovet granted the Company a license to use ultramicronized-palmitoyleth- anolamide to develop U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved veterinary drugs for the treatment of gastro-intestinal dis- eases in dogs and cats. In addition, the Company announced the fil- ing of its year-end results and pro- vides corporate updates. “The licensing agreement with Innovet Italia S.R.I, to evaluate the use of ultra- micro PEA as a veterinary anti-inflammatory prescription drug, is an exciting opportunity for the company to enter into a new and untapped market,” said Dr. Raza Bokhari, Executive Chairman & CEO. “With a balance sheet that is stronger today than it was when we began our journey nearly three years ago, we are actively exploring other M&A and licens- ing opportunities to expand our drug development pipeline.” Royal De Heus completes Golpasz S.A. acquisition Royal De Heus strengthens its position in Poland with acquisition of the compound feed company Golpasz S.A. R oyal De Heus completed the acquisition of the Pol- ish compound feed company Gol- pasz. With annual sales of almost 500,000 tonnes of compound feed, Golpasz is a market leader in turkey feed on the Polish market and has secured a leading position in broiler feed. This acquisition is consistent with De Heus’ ambi- tion of further strengthening its leading position in Poland. Golpasz offers a complete range of compound feeds for multiple animal categories, including tur- key, broilers, pigs, cattle (meat and milk) and other poultry. Gol- pasz, driven by its quality philos- ophy, experienced strong growth over the past 10 years. The com- pany has four modern production sites that are favourably located geographically in relation to the most important livestock farm- ing regions. With a total of twelve plants, De Heus now has an ex- cellent spread across Poland. The Polish southern growth regions will become more easily accessible through this acquisition. De Heus and Golpasz have high-quality specialised knowl- edge relating to animal nutrition, livestock farming and produc- tion technology. Both companies continue an intensive process of integration that should result in numerous synergies with positive effect on clients, partners employ- ees and business results.
