Hosted by AFIA’s Liquid Feed Committee, the symposium focuses on current issues, growth, education and development in regard to the liquid feed industry. The largest and longest-running event of its kind, it is designed to promote all segments of the liquid feed industry, including manufacturers, nutritionists, equipment manufacturers, sales and marketing, and additional industry support companies. “LFS is a great event to attend if you are involved in the liquid feed business because it offers an opportunity to network and learn about such a specialized part of the overall industry,” said Paul Davis, Ph.D., AFIA’s director of quality, animal food safety and education. Read more>> AFIA opens registration for Liquid Feed Symposium Nuqo announced the creation of its affiliate in Mexico, Nuqo Feed Additives Mexico, to promote and distribute its range of feed additives in Mexico and several surrounding countries. The creation of Nuqo Mexico is driven by Nuqo’s strategic plan to implement the best high-performance network and to further expand its activities in Europe and globally. “Nuqo’s technologies are gaining traction in Europe, but also in South-East Asia and other regions of the globe. Now, the addition of Mexico with a dedicated team will help to reach more producers,” said Ewenn Helary, CEO of Nuqo. “Besides that, we hope to further strengthen our development in the Latam region in the future, and Mexico is giving us valuable anchoring to do just that.” According to Guillaume Etave, commercial director at Nuqo: “Transparency is key in partnerships. In this role, Pelayo will lead the layers business unit in executing the company’s plans to provide value at every stage of the egg value chain with proven product performance. Casanovas holds a master’s degree in poultry science. He began his career as a project engineer for poultry facilities at Hispano Suiza T.E. S.L. Agroindustrial in Spain, which was focused on colored broilers. For the last 20 years, Casanovas held various senior and executive management positions at Cobb Vantress.
