NEWS 84 FEED & ADDITIVE MAGAZINE January 2023 IPPE (The International Production & Processing Expo), the world’s largest annual poultry, meat and animal food industry event of its kind, will be organized in January 24-26, 2023 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, USA. A wide range of international decision-makers attend this annual event to network and become informed on the latest technological developments and issues facing the industry. IPPE offers attendees access to the latest in protein and feed technology through exhibits and educational programing. TECHTalks are free, 20-minute technical presentations, offered each day at IPPE. For the 2023 IPPE, 72 presentations will be given in the TECHTalks theaters in the B-Hall at Booths B3646 and B8675 and in the C-Hall at Booth C10611. The TECHTalks presentations will address many topics, including food safety, animal welfare, sustainability and feed production, among others. Each presentation will be led by an IPPE exhibitor that will share expertise and experience on the session topic. Attendees can stop by the free TECHTalks education presentations from 10:30 a.m. – 4:20 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 24; 9:30 a.m. – 4:20 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 25; and 9:30 a.m. – 12:20 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 26. The 2023 IPPE will have more than 530,000 square feet of exhibit space and 1,160+ exhibitors. IPPE is a collaboration of three trade shows – International Feed Expo, International Poultry Expo and International Meat Expo – representing the entire chain of protein production and processing. Dan Jaffee will transition his responsibilities as President and General Manager of Amlan to Wade and will continue to serve as President and CEO of Oil-Dri. While serving as President and General Manager, Dan strategically realigned Amlan as a leader in mineral technology. Dan built a high-performing team and is now recognizing specific individuals for their leadership and experience who will take Amlan into the next phase of growth. Wade joined Amlan as Vice President, Marketing and Product Development in March 2021 and was promoted to Vice President of Agriculture & Amlan Marketing in May 2022. Since joining the company, Wade directed global marketing efforts and reinforced Amlan's promise to deliver reliable, natural feed additive solutions from its proprietary mineral technology to improve the quality of animal protein for human consumption.
