Difagri has acquired NeoFeed, an independent company with more than 15 years of experience in the animal nutrition and feed sector. According to Difagri, the acquisition will help the company release new products over a wide range of species.
France-based Difagri has announced the acquisition of NeoFeed, in line with one of its strategic priorities for 2023-2028. Difagri Group claims that it significantly reinforces its capacity for endogenous innovation through this merger with an agile, disruptive and recognised player in formulation engineering and in the conception of animal nutrition solutions.
“We continue our acceleration as planned with the accomplishment of one of the major strategic pillars of the DIFAGRI project. In addition to strengthening our already significant formulation potential, this merger gives us a powerful, highly operational, comprehensive and robust innovation platform. With Olivier PIVETEAU, we share the same values and passion for advancing our expertise in the service of livestock farming,” comments Cédric de Boulogne, CEO of Difagri.
Olivier Piveteau, founder of NeoFeed, who has long been active in the field of design and production of solutions with high technical added value, also emphasises the significance of this alliance: “A long standing commercial and industrial partner of NeoFeed, the choice of Difagri is part of a collaborative continuity based on trust. As well as my Vendéens origins, I share Difagri’s values of progress and service to the world of livestock farming. Together, and equipped with the industrial capacities at the Montaigu site we will be able to develop and expand the range of possibilities to meet the challenges of tomorrow.”
As a result, Piveteau now takes charge of a brand new Technical and Innovation Division, born of this fusion, with the promise of a programme of new features.
“Those that create give direction, with our drive and commitment, we look forward to seeing you very soon for the next chapter,” adds de Boulogne. “We intend to reinforce our position of leader in the field of animal nutrition, not only by our size or our announcements, but in concrete terms with significant new products.”
Difagri points out that the upcoming major trade shows will therefore see it in a new light, with new product launches over a wide range of species.
