Brenntag Animal Nutrition makes exclusive distribution agreement for Europe One of the global market leaders in chemicals and ingredients distribution, Brenntag has announced a new and exclusive distribution agreement between Brenntag Animal Nutrition, producer and provider of solutions and ingredients to the feed and pet food producers, with BTSA for the distribution of Oxabiol, natural antioxidants, for the animal nutrition industry in Europe. BTSA is a European manufacturer of antioxidants for many industries including food, animal nutrition and cosmetics. This new agreement is reportedly an important next step in the collaboration between the two companies that has already started in 2019.

Wouter Vullings, Director Animal Nutrition EMEA, states: “We are looking forward to expanding our long-year collaboration into an exclusive cooperation. BTSA’s antioxidants complement Brenntag’s Animal Nutrition portfolio by completing the existing portfolio of traditional antioxidants synergistic portfolio.  This agreement supports our long-term strategic goal to expand our presence as a leading ingredients supplier in the Animal Nutrition and Pet Food industry in the EMEA region.”

The agreement includes natural antioxidants – also available in an organic version – for animal feed, pet food and rendering products based on tocopherol blends and synergistic combinations with rosemary extract, green tea extract and others. Antioxidants are an essential component in the pet food, rendering and animal nutrition industries. They help extend shelf-life, protect nutrients and improve overall quality and palatability of the products by minimizing spoilage produced by oxidation.

“This new partnership will allow BTSA to expand its footprint to almost full market coverage and efficiently serve a number of new customers through the dedicated Brenntag team. Joining forces in this way promises to be a successful journey that will benefit both partners and their customers,” points out Javier Letamendia, CEO BTSA.
