Debbie Short

US-based animal health and nutrition company BioZyme Inc. has assigned Debbie Short as the new Senior Manager of its additive sales team. Short will be bringing her experience in both monogastric and ruminant nutrition and sales to the company.

Debbie Short has been appointed as the new Senior Manager of Additive Sales – South at BioZyme® Inc.  In her role, she will continue to develop business and relationships related to additive sales in 21 states across the South. Additionally, she will be a key collaborator in innovation development and deployment across the U.S.

“I am excited to bring my varied experiences in both monogastric and ruminant nutrition and sales to BioZyme and to be working for a multispecies company backed by research with products made here in the U.S.,” Debbie Short said.

Short brings more than 17 years of experience to the animal health and nutrition industry. She has worked in sales and marketing in the livestock business across the south and led teams on a national level. She has a passion for helping companies learn about the most progressive technologies to help their customers thrive and receive the best ROI they possibly can.

“We are so excited to have someone of Debbie’s caliber join our sales team,” explained Alan Lee, BioZyme Vice President of Domestic Business. “She brings 17 years of additive sales experience to our team and a depth of knowledge across species, from poultry to dairy to beef cattle and horses to sea life. She will make a true difference while showing care that comes full circle.”

Debbie Short earned her bachelor’s degree in Animal Veterinary Science with a concentration in Poultry Business from Clemson University.  An early internship helped her discover that she didn’t desire an office job but wanted to get her foot in sales, where she could interact with different customers daily. She most recently worked as the U.S. business leader at Phytobiotics North America, LLC.

“It is wonderful to be at a U.S.-based company that has such a rich history. I am looking forward to meeting customers in my territory and growing our sales with these wonderful products,” Debbie Short concluded.
