Charley Cull

Argenta has announced the strategic realignment of its CRO platform, which will be organized into two key segments under the leadership of two Argenta executives. With the realignment, Charley Cull will become the Head of Americas CRO, with Klaus Hellmann becoming the Head of Europe CRO.

One of the leading animal health pharmaceutical services company, Argenta has announced the strategic realignment of its CRO platform, effectively immediately.

Over the past several years, Argenta’s CRO platform has experienced tremendous momentum through both strong organic growth as well as through a series of highly strategic and complementary acquisitions. Today, Argenta has a comprehensive set of capabilities including regulatory, pre-clinical, and clinical CRO services. Argenta believes this realignment of the CRO business is a natural next step in further strengthening its customer value proposition and integrating the company’s various operations—ultimately enhancing its ability to more seamlessly serve the entire end-to-end R&D and product development journey within the animal health industry.

Argenta’s CRO platform will be organized into two key segments under the leadership of two highly experienced Argenta executives who possess strong track records of performance, quality, customer trust, and driving growth:
• Americas CRO: Charley Cull will become the Head of Americas CRO. Cull was most recently the Head of Product Development Services and a member of the senior leadership team at Midwest Veterinary Services which was acquired by Argenta in 2023. In his new role, Charley Cull will have full responsibility for the CRO platform in the Americas. He will also be maintaining his existing role as the Head of Product Development Services at Argenta.
• Europe CRO: Klaus Hellmann will become the Head of Europe CRO. Hellmann was most recently Argenta’s Chief Veterinary Officer with Business Development responsibilities in Europe and Asia for the CRO business, and previously the founder/CEO of Klifovet which was acquired by Argenta in 2021. In his new role, Klaus Hellmann will have full responsibility for the CRO platform in Europe.

“I am incredibly excited to announce the next chapter of Argenta’s CRO platform. We believe this strategic realignment will help enhance our ability as a company to better serve the accelerating need for our core services. I am thrilled to welcome both Charley and Klaus into their new roles, and look forward to working with them to further our mission and help realize our full potential in the animal health industry,” said Stephan Kutzer, Interim CEO and Board Member at Argenta.

Charley Cull and Klaus Hellmann will both be members of the Executive Leadership Team and oversee their respective organizations in the CRO business as well as work together to drive better coordination globally, reporting directly to the CEO.
